Nyagasang's Electrocution Mishap: Sen. Florence Ita-Giwa to Build A Memorial View Center

Sen. Florence Ita-Giwa who recently decamped to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) is set to Build a befitting memorial viewing center in Nyahasang. This was made known when she visited the viewing center where about 30 Manchester United fans lost their lives and others sustained sever wounds while watching the club's match against Anderlecht on thursday night.

It could be recalled that Manchester fans had a black thursday when a high tension electric cable fell on a locally constructed viewing center at Nyagasang axis of Calabar municipality, Cross River State Nigeria. The incidence which took place towards the end of the match saw about 30 people fear dead and several others are currently receiving treatment. 

Senator Florence Ita-Giwa who is also a Manchester United fan visited the spot where the electrocution took place. Her visit to the place Saw her laying  wreath at the viewing centre.

Ita-Giwa, has asked the community to give her a portion of land where she would build a comfortable 'memorial viewing centre' in memory of the deceased for the people of Nyagasang community in Atimbo area of Calabar Municipality.
