The Nigerian Airforce plane carrying Mr. Buhari landed at
the Abuja international airport at exactly 4.36 p.m. Nigerian time.

President Muhammadu Buhari is back to Nigeria after
nearly four months in the United Kingdom where he received medical treatment
for an undisclosed ailment.
The president expected to inspect a guard of honour
mounted by the Nigerian Army at the presidential wing of the airport, before
leaving for the presidential villa at Asokoro district of Abuja.
Upon arrival
at the Presidential villa, President Muhammadu Buhari proceeded to meet Vice
President Yemi Osinbajo and security chiefs behind closed doors at the
Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting
was Buhari’s first official engagement after returning to the country earlier
in the day.
Journalists
and some other top government officials were excused from the premises after
Buhari had exchanged greetings with officials who were on hand to receive him
at his residence.
