Even with all their tight schedule, the first ladies still stole out time to hold their 6th meeting to for the last quarter of the year.
During the meeting, the following resolutions were taken;
1. That we commit to re-double our efforts at ensuring the success of Maternal & Newborn health care delivery in our region. This is further hinged on our recent investitures as Champions of Maternal, Newborn and Child health & Nutrition in our individual states by our mother and wife of the President of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Aisha Buhari.
2. In collaboration with the Primary Health Care Agencies in our states, help to debunk the recent negative rumours on immunisation. We resolve to ensure that our children get the complete immunisation packages as when due to help eradicate most childhood diseases in our region.
3. To encourage stable marriages and families through proper sensitisation of our women.
4. To promote economic growth and resilience of our women through constant sensitisation and empowerment as well as encourage them to create more group cooperatives among themselves.
5. To encourage and promote the proper and good education of the girl-child while discouraging every form of abuse against our children.
6. To continue to complement our husbands in their strides for good governance to our people.
