Mr. Austine Ibok, the special Adviser to the Governor on Inter-party Affairs has reminded the people of his constituency, Akpabuyo, Bakassi and Calabar South Local Government Areas that just as Christ, peace and love should be at the center of all their actions through out this season beyond.

The SA stated this in an Easter  facilitation message to his constituency  made available to our newsroom. In his message,  he encouraged constituents to have faith that 2019 will surely bring an end to their many troubles as God will definitely through their votes give them a leader who will attend to their plights.

Mr. Ibok used the opportunity to remind constituents that Easter is a period to commemorate the crucifixion, death and resurrection of the "Messiah" Jesus Christ.

'In times like this, we are reminded of the importance of love, hope and sacrifice. Most importantly, we are reminded the value of "faith" in hard times.

'In this season, the people of Akbabuyo, Bakassi and Calabar South (ABC) Federal constituency are reminded that for salvation to come to man, love conquered all on the cross'. He said.

As the 2019 general elections draw near, the people should learn to imbibe the virtues of Jesus Christ who amidst trials and betrayals, continued to preach peace and love. He taught us that violence is never a solution'. He added.

'Let us be constantly reminded that election is not a do or die affair. The people are faced with options and the ball is in their court to choose wisely but while on it, they're advised to do so peacefully. The aim is to find a good representative for good representation in the Green Chambers come 2019. Who so ever that may be, unity and progress should be the aim'. He concluded.
