Distinguished People of Obubra / Etung Federal Constituency, I present to you my pledge, being my covenant with you, if elected Member of the House of Representatives come 2019.
Human growth, progress and development depends greatly on effective and visionary leadership hence you need a man of vision and ideas as your member House of Representatives to represent you the people of Obubra /Etung federal constituency in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.
The Visibility and Positive Projection of our federal Constituency is key and strategic to me as a progressive democrat and grass root mobilizer.
*Birthday Origin and Family*
Enangha Eyam Abeng hails from Ovonum, Adun in Obubra Local Government Area of
Cross River State. He was born more than three decades ago into the family of Mr. and Mrs.
Eyam Abeng all of Ovonum village. He is happily married to Blessing Enangha Abeng and blessed with two beautiful children (boy and a girl). He is fluent in
speaking Mbembe, English and Yoruba languages respectively.
*Education, Career and Entrepreneurships*
Eyam started his Primary Education in St' Paul primary School, Ovonum, Obubra and Secondary
Education in Muslim College, Oworonshoki, Lagos Nigeria. Then proceeded to study
Computer Science at Cross River University of Technology, and graduated with a Second
Class Upper Division. Eyam Abeng has a Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Computer science with
a PhD proceeds to his credit from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria.
Eyam Abeng had a commendation award during his NYSC in Osun State, for his outstanding
contribution and hard work. This accomplishment coupled with his excellence knowledge in
computer science laid a sound career service background in both private and public
organizations. Mr. Eyam started his career as a Channel Sales Executive in
Globacom Limited and later was promoted to be the Head, State SIM REG Champions, Cross
River State. Due to his love for knowledge and humanity, Eyam Abeng left Globacom
Limited to assume the position of Assistant Lecturer, in Department of Computer Science,
Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH), 1st
February, 2012. His
ambitions to acquire knowledge and skills that will enable him compete favourably and
contribute his quota towards nation building necessitated this young and erudite computer
scientist to continue his work career in a more structured and highly demanding
corporation like Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
He started as a Hardware Specialist in August 2012 with the National Petroleum Investment
Management Services (NAPIMS). NAPIMS is the Corporate Services Unit (CSU) in the
Exploration and Production (E&P) Directorate of the NNPC charged with the responsibility of managing Nigeria Government's investment in the upstream sector of the Oil and Gas
industry and currently as a Network Architect in the Information Technology Division (ITD)
of National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS), Lagos Nigeria.
Eyam Abeng is a proud member of several professional bodies; Nigeria Computer Society (NCS),
Internet Society Nigeria Chapter (ISOC), IEEE Computer Society Member, Association for
Computing Machinery (ACM) and ACM SIGGRAPH Africa & Middle East Regional Chapter.
He also has some professional certificates to his credit such as;
CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA Routing & Switching),
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP),
SAP ABAP NetWeaver (SAP BI.),
CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP Routing & Switching) in view.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in view.
Eyam Abeng is not just a local champion but a global star that has toured and still touring the globe for

As part of his community service contribution, Mr. Eyam Abeng was appointed as the
Secretary of Cross River University of Technology Alumni Board of Trustee (BOT) in March 2008-
July 2015. In December 2015, he was elected the President, CRUTECH Alumni
Association and Governing Council Member, Cross River University of Technology Calabar,
Nigeria. A position he was elected on trust and his sterling leadership qualities, global
experience and cutting edge performance embedded in administrative acumen which he has displayed in
words and in action.
In 2017, He was appointed member of the Governing Council, Cross River University Of Technology, (CRUTECH) Calabar, Nigeria. Being the first to be so appointed from the Alumni Association and alao the youngest member of the council.
He has contributed in human resource capacity development in areas such as artisans training
in his community over the years and also attracted several opportunities to the youths and women.
Presently, Comr. Eyam Abeng is the assistant Secretary PENGASSAN, NAPIMS branch.
He has participated in several Union activities, engagement and advocacy within the last decade.

Influencing and attracting of Federal Government and Donor Agencies Infrastructural
Development to the Constituency.
Empowerment of farmers and traders for value addition and increase in businesses.
Float a Scholarships scheme covering from secondary school to University level.
Welfare package for party faithful's and the aged.
Provision of transportation buses for the people of Obubra/Etung.
Health (Revamping existing primary & Secondary health care centres and building
new health care centres).
Provision of skills acquisition centres to reduce unemployment in the constituency.
The training programmes will be in partnership with the National Directorate of
Employment and other development partners.
Provision of school buses to ease the daily hassle of the students.
Furthermore, as postulatrd by Frantz Fanon, 'Each generation must, out of relative obscurity, discover its mission, fulfil it
or betray it'. The choice is yours.
Therefore, Eyam Abeng is committed to Action; determined to lead the change with
Charisma, Character and Courage.
...Let us change the present narrative of Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency Representation while building for the future.
