AWKA Wife of Anambra State Governor and founder of Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFE), Dr. Ebelechukwu Obiano has called on Anambra women to work hard to ensure that peace reigns in the state.
Mrs Obiano made the plea in her Easter message signed on her behalf by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to Anambra State Governor, Mr Emeka Ozumba.
According to her, Easter was a culmination of the season of passion which signifies the sacrificial love of Christ for humankind.
She further urged all to pray for sustenance of peace and security which the state has enjoyed over the years.
"Mothers should derive inspiration from the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Christ and other women during the Passion of Christ, and be dedicated in prayers for the good of our families and our state so that the miracle and love of the Risen Christ will pervade our land".
The Governor's Wife commended the Governor Chief Willie Obiano for his strength of character and restraint amidst daunting challenges.
She however prayed that God Almighty who destined the state as the Light of the Nation will continue to guide him successfully so that his passion and sacrifice in service of Anambra State will not be in vain.
