Eleven passengers on Thursday night have  been reportedly kidnapped along the Elele-Isiokpo Community axis of the Port Harcourt road in Ikwerre Local Government Area Rivers State by unknown gunmen.

A  source who is related to one of the abducted passengers told our Correspondent, that the 18 seater Agofure Bus was travelling to Rivers State from Warri, Delta State.

TDN, understands that the kidnappers are yet to contact families of the abductees.

Narrating the ordeal to our reporter, the source said "The kidnapping case that happened Thursday night in Elele axis, my  aunt was involved.

"She was travelling in an Agofure bus from warri to Ph. When the other Agofure bus checked the road they saw just 1agofure, 1 cienna and 2 camry cars but they were all empty.

"The driver escaped and two persons escaped. They were at Isiokpo police station. They said the kidnappers were like 20 boys, with guns pushing them inside the bush. They even took their luggages.

"The last time I spoke to her was at 9 :25, to ask her where they are. She told me there were very close, the network was breaking, I called again and called with no response, we were worried, at a particular time the call started getting busy, Honestly I'm scared.

" I drove down to the airport roundabout to check if it was an accident, but nothing to get.  Everybody is panicking, when we got to the agofure park  that was when we got the information that they were kidnapped. We are praying we get a call from their abductees".

When our Correspondents sent Whatapp messages to  the   Rivers State Police  public relation officer, Grace Harris Iringe-Koko she promised to get back to our correspondents.
