Against the backlash of comment by Activist Mahdi that the Northern Nigeria will disappoint APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu because "everything about him is shrouded in coat of doubt, suspicion and uncertainty," Tinubu Media Team in Cross River State has countered Mahdi stating that the "Activist" fall short of the standard of a trustworthy, credible and impeccable Activist.
The group said 'Mahdi should not be taken seriously, because he has been subsumed in the politics of failure and frustration from where he emerges with such an overnight conclusion.'
Mahdi had tweeted on Thursday that "if you believe BAT, then you can as well believe anything, with everything about him shrouded in coat of doubt, suspicion and uncertainty."
But State Coordinator of TMT in Cross River, Bassey Ekpenyong Ita, who mentioned the group's reaction in an online message said Mahdi has further exposed his incapacitation by that comment.
According to him, Mahdi has already disclosed to the World that he is a Politician of the failed PDP stock having introduced himself as coming from the tutelage of the PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar and is therefore not coming from the background of activism as he would want Nigerians to believe.
'Activists are those who have an unrepentant stoicism, of straightforward disposition, and are not given to failed political Enterprise as in the case of Mahdi, by holding on to desperate political mercantilism as the only straw of existence, in the guise of Activism.'
'Mahdi is rather known as an unrepentant follower of the PDP Presidential Candidate's political thoughts which speaks of everything that shallow- mindedness, and the attendant failure and frustration can offer.
'Perhaps Mahdi has to be told that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's political trajectory is one of bridge-building disposition which has roots across the country including the North.'
'The title Jagaban Borgu, for instance did not just come by coincidence, but by such disposition of a man who is trustworthy and reliable by virtue of his proven track record of cosmopolitan broadmindedness.'

Mahdi,the group said, is not qualified to speak for the North, and his comments cannot also represent the mindset of the North, hence the further call for Nigerians to treat and regard it a coming from the abyss of inconsequential.'
'We at the TMT would like to bet with Mahdi and his ilk that the Northern Nigeria is too great an entity for him to be speaking for, and should therefore be disregarded.
'We recall that at the resumption of political activities early this year, it was the North that lead the campaign for power rotation to the South as a way of sustaining the unity, peace, stability and progress of the country, from whence Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged as the APC Presidential Candidate for the 2023 Elections.'
