Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo visited Etono Central Community in Biase LGA on a thank you tour and to also announce his recent political decision to his constituents. The thank you witnessed a massive turnout by the people who overwhelmingly display total support for their representative.
Speaking at the Clan Head's Palace, Dansuki stated that the visit was a thank-you visit to his people for the support over the last 11 years going to 12 for the show of love and support. "It is on record that no House of Representative member has done a three-term in our constituency. I am the first and this was only possible because you supported me. As it has always been my tradition to visit towards the end of a dispensation to say thank you, I am here today to say thank you for all your support".
My political life has witnessed occasional changes and this time is no different. I started with APP and moved to PDP and these parties just like the new one I am now a member are like entering a vehicle to embark on a journey. If a vehicle cannot take you to your desired destination, you have to change the vehicle. I left the PDP because the party could not respect its constitution, could not address its zoning principle, and rode on these anomalies to mete grave injustice against the south. in the end, we all saw the injustice, the lack of equity, fairness on the people of Cross River South.
My relationship here is more of a son sent on a treasure hunt and I have delivered on those promises I made, but there is a possibility to do more and that is why I am also here seeking a higher office as senator of Cross River South in 2023 under my new party that respects equity, fairness, and justice. The ideology and the symbol of my party are the father, mother, and child, the family. Your relationship now is rooted in the strong sentiment of the family too. Today, we all strongly agree that in life, the unit of the society that lasts forever is the family, and your support and votes for me means sending your son once again to go out and bring back to his family.
Vote for me and let us do more, no other person has brought projects to Etono more than myself, and I promise you that what is meant for you will be delivered intact, no one will take this away from you.

Similarly, the MP also spoke with the women's wing and they also declared their support recounting his good works in the delivery of democratic dividends such as a market, employment for their children, solar streetlights, town hall, etc.
They commended the people of Akamkpa for their great understanding of live and let's live thus not coming out to vie for the office of Member House of Representative. They also welcome their son, Onun Jesse Ejemot, who is vying for the position of House of Reps, promising to support him too.
