Mr. Castro Ezama, Special Adviser on Education to the Cross River State Governor, Sen. Ben Ayade and South South zonal Chairman of Conference Of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP) has debunked claims that some Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BIVAS) machines were moved into the Cross River State Governor's lodge, saying all machines are intact.
Castro refuted the claims on Monday, while filing questions from journalists, at an event aimed at unveiling one hundred thousand votes for the 2023 General Elections organized by Conference Of Nigeria Political Parties, in Calabar the Cross River State Capital.
Recall some media reports had claimed that some of the BIVAS machines were moved at Night into the Cross River State Governor's lodge.
Debunking the claims Castro Said
"Bivas is not in the government house, it is not true. If it is in the government house I would have said it here and now. It can never be to the extent were CBN were not allowed to access some sensitive materials because of the time when the CBN governor ran for presidential election.
"And having a government of the common man that was handled. The same INEC that invited political parties to come and look at sensitive materials will also ensure journalist and media houses will all be they to see this things.
" INEC have their routine, all that will be done within a specified time and so on Wednesday, several political parties have been invited to come and inspect sensitive materials, and we will all be they".
Castro also noted that although he is an appointee of government, that his principals will not force him to go against his wish of voting whosever he wishes to vote for.
" We have a government that will not coax or force people to go against their wish, it is freedom. We are doing what we see in the US, where you see a republican going out to vote for a Democrat .

" We have polished Politicians that will not force or coax people to go against their own wishes. As I speak, it is possible that even my wife might have a different position in the Saturday Elections ". He said.
