The National Board for Technical Education ( NBTE) is set to visit the Cross River Owned Institute of Technology and Management Ugep for accreditation exercise.
The visit which is scheduled for 12th through 17th of February 2023 will see 10 of the school's programs go through the accreditation process.
According to the Director of Academic Programs Dr Akintola, Abayomi, who also sits as chairman Accreditation committee, the institution is ready to host the team as he expressed optimism that all the 10 programs scheduled for accreditation will come out successful.
He however, called on various stakeholders within and outside the school to show strong support and cooperation as they host the team.
The 10 Programs scheduled for accreditation/ resource verification include;
Computer science, Business Administration and Management, Electrical/ Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering
Others are Architectural Technology, Computer Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Leisure/ Hospitality Management, Public Administration and Accountancy
