CALABAR — The Vice Chairman and CEO of the Cross River State Planning Commission, Pastor Dr. Bong Duke, has hailed the leadership of the St. Patrick's College Alumni Association, Calabar Branch, for their initiative in strengthening community bonds and fostering a sense of shared heritage and pride
Dr. Duke, who is also an alumnus of the institution, made this commendation during a brief visit from the association's leadership to his office emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting unity and a sense of belonging among the alumni. He informed that the State Planning Commission is eager to support and participate in the 90th-anniversary celebration, recognizing it as a significant milestone in the history of St. Patrick's College.
"The upcoming 90th-anniversary celebration is not just a school event; it is a community event that brings together generations of alumni to honor an institution that has significantly shaped our lives," Dr. Duke added.
