(CR-SEEMS) 2024- A gateway for Entrepreneur and Professional growth for Cross River State students

CALABAR -The Cross River State Government is set to host the first ever Students Entrepreneurship, Employability, and Mentorship Summit (CR-SEEMS) 2024.

According to a statement by the special Assistant to the Governor on Students Affairs, Mr. Kelvin Eyiam, the flagship event dedicated to equipping students with essential skills to thrive in today's competitive business environment will hold on 18th-20th November 2024 coinciding with the 2024 edition of the International Students Day at the Metropolitan Hotel in Calabar from November 18-20, 2024, with reviews and follow-up engagements on November 21.

The event which is organized under the theme of 'Fostering Entrepreneurial Spirit and Employability among Cross River State's Youths' will be an influential platform for nurturing young talent and encouraging innovation.

Eyaim Noted that the event will attract students from tertiary institutions across the state, along with young entrepreneurs, start-up founders, and educators invested in promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation.

According to the statement, the event will feature Keynote Addresses by prominent entrepreneurs and thought leaders who will share their experiences and strategies for success, Interactive Workshops and Masterclasses on entrepreneurship, business planning, and skill development, offering practical insights and tools for business growth, One-on-One Mentorship Sessions, enabling students to connect with experienced professionals who will guide them through the initial phases of their entrepreneurial journeys and offer follow-up support, Funding and Scholarship Opportunities for innovative ideas, providing a financial boost for promising start-ups and Networking Sessions to foster connections with potential investors, partners, and collaborators, opening doors for future business opportunities.

The former Student Union Leader emphasized the importance of CR-SEEMS 2024 in building the next generation of business leaders and innovators. "CR-SEEMS 2024 is more than a summit; it's a catalyst for growth, providing young minds the tools and mentorship they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving world," the spokesperson noted.
