CALABAR — The Chairman of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission CRIDCOM Hon. Otu Okor, has disclosed the commission's plans to hold town hall meetings across the 36 states of the federation including the FCT.
The chairman informed that the tour is aimed towards harnessing opportunities while opening pathways for investments and encourage Cross Riverians in the Diaspora to participate productively towards the growth of Cross River State.
"The essence of this critical Town Hall meeting is to create awareness, foster engagement, promote investment opportunities, and encourage Diaspora participation in the State's development."
"This is set to be an all-inclusive gathering, where issues bothering on State development, opportunities for investments as well as other businesses-growth based issues will be chewed over." Otu stated.
TDN gathered that the adequate arrangements have been made to ensure a successful and valuable Town Hall Meetings even as the commission has promised to ensure that the Season Of Sweetness is experienced beyond the shores of Cross River State and Nigeria at large.
Recall that on the 27th of March, Governor Bassey Otu had set up the Cross River State Diaspora Commission with the aime of engaging Cross Riverians outside the state with policies and developmental programmes and projects leaverging on their human and material resources for the socioeconomic, cultural, and political advancement of Cross River State.
