CALABAR – The Cross River State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs has joined in celebrating the First Lady of the state, Bishop Dr. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, on the occasion of her 62nd birthday, describing her as a rare symbol of compassion, service, and selfless leadership.
In a birthday tribute issued on her behalf, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Helen Isamoh-Egodo, commended the First Lady’s longstanding commitment to humanitarian service, noting that her interventions through the NGO, *Humanity Without Borders*, have continued to provide relief and hope to vulnerable groups across the state.
She said the First Lady has consistently demonstrated a deep sense of responsibility toward women, children, and underserved communities, adding that her humanitarian footprint has become a source of inspiration to both public officials and citizens alike.
