EBOM – The Deputy Leader of the Cross River State House of Assembly and Member representing Abi State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Davies Etta, has congratulated Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a congratulatory message signed by him, Etta described Lebo’s emergence as a reflection of widespread confidence in his leadership capacity, political experience, and longstanding commitment to public service.

He noted that the outcome of the party’s selection process demonstrates the trust reposed in Lebo by party stakeholders and constituents who believe in his ability to provide effective representation at the National Assembly.
According to him, the development presents another opportunity for the APC flag bearer to further strengthen grassroots engagement and advance the collective interests of the Abi/Yakurr people at the federal level.
Etta expressed optimism that Lebo’s experience in governance will be an asset in addressing key developmental challenges facing the constituency, particularly in areas of infrastructure, youth empowerment, and social welfare.
He further urged the candidate to remain focused and committed as he prepares for the main electoral contest, expressing confidence in his capacity to deliver purposeful leadership if elected.
