CALABAR — Registration has opened for the 2026 edition of the Queen of Humanity Nigeria Pageant, with organisers calling on qualified young women across the country to seize the platform to promote humanitarian service, leadership and positive social change.
The organisers, in a statement, said the registration portal for the fourth edition of the pageant opened on August 30, 2026, and will remain open until midnight on October 30, 2026.
The pageant, themed “The True Essence of Humanity,” is designed to celebrate young women who demonstrate not only beauty, but also intelligence, character, compassion, leadership and a commitment to serving their communities.
Prospective contestants have been directed to register through the official website https://queenofhumanitynigeria.org
where they are expected to review the eligibility requirements and registration guidelines before completing their applications.
According to the organisers, the Queen of Humanity Nigeria Pageant is intended to go beyond the traditional concept of beauty pageants by providing a platform for young women to demonstrate their talents, champion social causes and contribute to community development.
The 2026 edition will also place emphasis on qualities such as confidence, communication skills, creativity, personality, intelligence and commitment to humanitarian values.
The organisers said contestants would undergo various stages of assessment and engagement ahead of the grand finale, adding that participants would be expected to demonstrate a clear sense of purpose and readiness to represent the ideals of the Queen of Humanity brand.
Now in its fourth year, the pageant has continued to position its participants as **“Humanity Champions,”** with the organisers saying the initiative seeks to encourage young women to become advocates for positive social change and humanitarian action in their communities.
The Queen of Humanity Nigeria Pageant is a project of Humanity Without Borders, the pet project of the Wife of the Governor of Cross River State, Bishop Eyoanwan Edet Otu.
The organisers also appealed to corporate organisations, government institutions, development partners, philanthropists and individuals to support the 2026 edition through sponsorships and strategic partnerships.
They said such partnerships would help strengthen programmes aimed at empowering young women and promoting humanitarian service, leadership and community development.
Interested applicants have been advised to provide accurate information during registration and to complete their applications only through the official pageant portal.
Registration closes at midnight on October 30, 2026.
