Controversial social/political commentator and critic
to Ayade’s government Mr. Ifere Paul has deemed it fit to extend a congratulatory
message to his governor and leader Sen. Benedict Ayade, the Digital Governor of
Cross River State.
This came up as the federal Ministry of environment finally
handed over the approved copy of the environmental impact assessment carried
out on Ayade’s proposed super High way.
Mr. Ifere who took to his facebook wall to
congratulate the governor said he was happy that at last the right thing has
been done and he is happy to have been part of the process in ensuring that the
supper high way meets internationally recommended standard.
“I
am grateful to have been part of the debate that enhanced and balanced the
advocacy for an internationally accepted EIA.” He said.
Mr.
Ifere who took out time to celebrate the government and citizens of cross river
state on the approval of the EIA specially thanked those who were “bent on the
state government to do the real thing” He encouraged citizens to always engage government
for the right thing to be done
“I
am happy for Cross River State. I am happy for Ben Ayade ability to withdraw
from the site in order for the best thing to be done” “Congratulations to him”.
…Congratulations
to those who were bent on the State Government doing the real thing.
In
a related development, another Critic of the government, Joseph Odok esq. a Political
commentator and social activist has also congratulated the government of Ben
Ayade for securing the EIA, but in his usual manner Joseph Odok did not fail to
question the experiential history of the company that will construct the super
high way and the payment of compensations to
those whose land was affected by the state's revocation exercise to avoid any
litigation.
Mr.
Odok also expressed his concerns hoping that the
Super High is not be a strategy for a bargain for power elongation.
Cross Riverians who were taken aback by the act from the duo did
not spare the two controversial critics as they took turns to attack their post
on facebook with several comments;
Below are some of the comments these congratulatory messages
