The
pioneer Director General of Greater Calabar Capital City Development Authority.
Comr. Kingsley lta lkpeme, has been unanimously elected as Chairman of the
Prestigious ST. Patrick's College Ikot Ansa Calabar Old Boys Association 97’ set.
Mr.
Ikpeme who has a rich leadership track record was unanimously elected to serve
as the Association’s Chief servant at a general meeting of set of 97’ held at Green
Valley Hotels Calabar in June 2017.
Accepting
the honor and confidence bestowed on him by the Association, Mr. Ikpeme said he
is humbled by the gesture and pledges to put in his best in partnership with
all stakeholders to revitalize the association and bring back the lost glory of
SPACO.
It is believed Ikpeme was elected to head the
association due to his track records of faithful service and dedication to duty,
judging from his previous performance in their days as students in the college,
where he served as a perfect and subsequently as the President of the Alumni
Association in the University of Calabar Chapter, his antecedent in the
students and youth Leadership, which he rose to the peak before joining the
Macro Politics.
As the
President of ST. Patrick's College Ikot
Ansa Calabar Old Boys Association 97’ set, Mr. Ikpeme will be
responsible for coordinating the
Alumnus at home and in diaspora.
D.G,
lkpeme, who is known for always creating something out of nothing, has enumerated
some projects he intends to embark on. These includes but not limited to organizing
a national Re-Union come December 2017, engage in some projects at the college,
like sinking of bore hole, renovation of the College Assembly Hall, etc.

Ikpeme’s leadership quality and style has
endeared him to many,no wonder the Digital Governor of Cross River State Sen. (Prof)
Ben Ayade, appointed him as the pioneer D.G of the Greater Calabar Capital City
Development Authority, one of the few appointments people have hailed(as a
square spade in a square Hole) D.G, lkpeme, is an Economist, a seasoned
administrator, an environmentalist, lkpeme is one of the few Cross Riverians
who prayed and mobilised citizens on the need to support the agitation for the
approval o the EIA for the super High way project to commence, due to its
economic benefits to the state, citizens and Nation at large, today we celebrate
with the D.G and Governor on the approval of the ElA by the federal Government.
D.G lkpeme is a man of many parts, a detribalised servant Leader, a Christian,
family man, enjoys friendship across the Nation, widely traveled and fun to be
with. As he takes over another responsibility of leading his set and organising
the national Re-Union come December 2017 for his Alma-Mater, we wish him a
happy tenure and enjoin him to bring his wealth of knowledge and experience to
bear which endeared him to his then classmate, Congratulations the Working D.G.
