Ntufam Hilliard Eta Begs S/South States to Accept APC

National Vice Chairman South South Zone of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ntufam Hilliard Eta has begged residents of the South South States to tow the line of the Edo electorate by rejecting the People's Democratic Party, PDP as a prelude to a stable and progressive polity.

Eta, who was speaking recently after the Appeal Court verdict which affirmed the Tribunal's upholding Mr. Godwin Obaseki’s victory at last year's gubernatorial election in Edo said the verdict affirmed that the Edo people, actually rejected the PDP at the polls.
This statement was made available by his media aid  Bassey Ita on his facebook wall, Saturday evening.
According to the Press Statement, Mr. Eta believes “the people of Edo are experiencing a stable and progress oriented polity as a result of the decision to accept the change mantra into their state. He said, by that singular act the people enacted a new order in their state adding that the continuity of the APC in the state has proven a rewarding experience for the mass of Edo people.”
Mr. Etta went ahead to plead with other states in the south south  still under PDP’s control to emulate Edo state and vote out PDP in the coming Elections.
The statement reads in part
“He urged the electorate in other South South states still controlled by the PDP to make a detour to the APC saying that their future as a people and as an entity is no longer guaranteed under the watch of the PDP.

According to the South South Zonal Chairman, the people of Edo are experiencing a stable and progress oriented polity as a result of the decision to accept the change mantra into their state. He said, by that singular act the people enacted a new order in their state adding that the continuity of the APC in the state has proven a rewarding experience for the mass of Edo people.

Eta hailed the Appeal Court Judgement and described it as perfection and endorsement of the truth over deceit which he said had pissed off the Edo people at the instance of the PDP rulership of the state.

He also used the opportunity to congratulate Governor Obaseki for the victory which he said should be dedicated to the common people of Edo who faced excruciating conditions under the PDP regime.”
