Under Gov. Ben Ayade

Calabar Monorail which Donald Duke started and was completed and commissioned by Liyel Imoke 's administration was recommissioned two times.
Calabar International Conference Centre where he was inaugurated was recommissioned and made to look like his project.

The 2015 campaign office he inherited from Hon. Legor Idagbor was commissioned and renamed job centre. The commission has not created a single job since its commissioning.

Rt Hon Essien Ayi church was commissioned and celebrated with fanfare by his media aides like a state project. Remember, churches are dedicated not commissioned.

Tailoring shop code named Garment factory has reportedly been commissioned but has not delivered any reasonable job so far including the contract from Peace Corps.

Green Police (Sheriff) was commissioned two times. During each commissioning, the Governor said he created 1,500 jobs through the agency. This means 3,000 people should be working there but only ten people are currently working there. In 2016, his Special Adviser, Technical, Arc Eric Akpo told me that the three thousand people were not engaged because there was no budget cover for them. This is December 2017, same old story.

And recently, when Skyrun, a company that has been operating in Calabar for over ten years expanded and did commissioning, the Governor's media aides said the privately owned company was brought to the state by Gov Ayade.

So far, it's either Gov Ayade is commissioning church or projects done by other people and crediting himself.

However, the mere fact that I see him wear smiling face each time his commissioning People's projects gives me the hope that he wants to commission his own projects but may not know how to go about it. For this reason, I urge all Cross Riverains to pray for our Governor because some evil forces may be behind his abysmal performance that even himself can't explain.
