The People's Democratic Party, House of representatives candidate for Akamkpa/Biase Federal constituency, Hon. Austine Aidam JP admonished Cross Riverians to be steadfast, resolute, resilient, committed and determined to vote out All Progressives Congress, led epileptic government and Enthrone the peoples mandate
The candidate disclosed this yesterday in a Media parley with Newsmen in calabar where he admonished his constituents to key in and support the peoples mandate for quality representation and to enable him bring dividends of democracy and good governance to the people
Hon Aidam, expressed gratitude, stating that he derives strength from the display of love and patriotism from the people of Akamkpa and Biase irrespective of political parties, communities, religion and gender. He said this only affirms the power of people with a purpose.
"I use this medium to urge you all to wake up from your slumber and let's collectively embark on the recovery journey towards the actualization of a greater Akamkpa/Biase Federal constituency". He stated.
Continuing, He disclosed that it's time to fight injustice, selfishness, bad management and proffer lasting solutions to the problems of his constituents.
"Just like the Chinese adage that says: "He who sit on the fence is exposed to destruction from both side", so the hope for a better Akamkpa/Biase federal Constituency lies in our hands and the task of salvaging the constituency is conformity with our courage and determination to build a virile constituency where there will be equity, prudent management of available resources likewise justice for every person in Akamkpa and Biase, so staying neutral will be a betrayal to the entire generation." Hon Austine noted.
In furtherance, he made known that most politicians lie and get away with the lies because the gullible people lick their lies, encased in manifestos they know would be discarded even before voting commences
Dear Young and Old people, I have a revelation for this constituency, a revelation of new beginning, a revelation of transformation, a revelation of forward ever backward never. He pleaded.
When asked about the strategy and modus operandi in actualizing these lofty Ideas, Hon Austine said he desires and seek a collaborative government and leadership where he will partner with the people by quarterly engaging them in a town hall meeting to discuss the problems affecting them likewise profound solutions to issues in order of priority
