...our votes have always been for you, and in 2023, we will double our efforts to make sure you win your Senate election...
Yesterday, the 1st day of December 2022, Rt. Hon. (Ntufam) Daniel Asuquo aka Dansuki, the Member Representing Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency in the National Assembly and the candidate of Labour Party for Cross River Southern Senatorial District in the 2023 general elections, led his campaign trail to Owai, Ifumkpa, and Ekpiri Iko respectively.
In his presentation at separate venues, the Member of Parliament maintained that he cannot kick start his campaign for the Cross River Southern Senatorial District election without visiting the three communities domiciled in his constituency. He expressed gratitude to the Chiefs, Women, Youth, and Leaders of various platforms for always standing by him throughout his stay in the National Assembly.
"The people of Owai, Ifumkpa, and Ekpiri Iko have always been part of my struggle in the National Assembly and that is why I have come to say thank you for your immense support. I have also come to inform you and seek your support for my Senate race in the 2023 general elections."
While in Owai, Dansuki assured the people of a standard six-class room block; pipe borne water; and federal employment for young graduates of the community. He stressed that all the things he has promised are achievable because he has done the same in Iko Esai and Iko Ekperem of the same Iko ward.
More interesting is the fact that Dansuki enjoyed all-round acceptance from the three communities (Owai, Ifumkpa, and Ekpiri Iko), as they all attested to the fact that his representation in the green chamber has touched their lives positively, that which is evident in the solar street light, etc.
"Today, our communities have turned into small cities of light courtesy of your solar street light project. For this singular act, we will stand firm with you and contribute to changing your title from Rt Honourable to Senator, while we expect more projects."
