Member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constuency, Hon. Jude Ngaji has splashed over N3.2m on two religious organisations in his constituency over the weekend even as he receives hundreds of defectors into the All Progressives Congress.
Ngaji who was the Chief Harvester and Father of the day during the Harvest Thanksgiving Service and Bazaar Celebration at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Ogoja donated the sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira only, (N2.5M) towards the church development.
In a related development, the Green Chambers member of the National Assembly, also visited the Assembly of God Church along Okuku road in Ogoja where he donated another Seven Hundred Thousand Naira (N700,000) towards the completion of the Church building.
Speaking with TDN, exclusively, Ngaji noted that God is his source and thus must always return to God to continually show gratitude. He said he can never do enough for God as God has been the source of all he has ever been or acquired.
Concerning his reelection bid, Ngaji said he is prepared and confident that God will give him victory because in his few months of representing his people, he has not been a disappointment to them. He has been a voice in the floor of the house and have also been their for his constituents.
Recall that Ngaji who was only elected during February 27th byeelection this year had returned home few months later to share his first salary with constituents. The former SA security to Governor Ben Ayade took time to visit the sick in almost all the medical facilities within his constituency where he supported them with cash and food.
In another development, the lawmaker received hundreds of persons identified as members of the People's Democratic Party in Ogoja led by Audu Gariba a PDP chapter executive member. Receiving the defectors, Ngaji said they have taken the right steps in the right time as he will always speak on their behalf in the floor of the National Assembly stating that he will always bring back home whatever is due them as their representative.
While urging them to take the message back home and win more souls into the APC family, as the umbrella has failed.
In an interview with our correspondents, Audu Gariba, said APC is his home and like the prodigal son in the bible, he has returned from loan and will put work in motion to make sure that Hon. Jude Ngaji returns to the office for a second tenure, in the same vein he urged others to rally around the house of representative member as he is loved greatly by the people and has been going around doing good since being elected.
