Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe in what seems a tight contest with the incumbent governor of the state, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade has emerged victorious and has been returned winner of the Northern Senatorial District elections.
Jarigbe who is contesting under the People's Democratic Party scored a total vote of 76,145 from 5 local government areas while Sen. Ayade scored 56,595 as his closest rival.
