CALABAR –The Deputy National Treasurer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Ben Akak, has commended the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, for what he described as three years of impactful and transformational leadership in the state.
In a congratulatory message marking Governor Otu’s third anniversary in office, Akak praised the governor for his unwavering commitment to the development of Cross River State through people-oriented policies, infrastructural renewal, and strategic investments across critical sectors.
According to the APC chieftain, the Otu-led administration has continued to promote peace, unity, and sustainable growth while repositioning the state for greater economic opportunities and social advancement.
“Over the past three years, Governor Otu has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and dedication to the progress of Cross River State. His administration has recorded remarkable achievements in infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, and human capital development,” Akak stated.
He noted that the governor’s developmental strides have not only improved the lives of citizens but have also strengthened the progressive ideals of the APC in the South-South region.
Akak further described Governor Otu as a symbol of purposeful governance whose leadership style continues to inspire confidence among party faithful and residents of the state.
“As Deputy National Treasurer of our great party, I am particularly proud of Governor Otu’s dedication to party unity and his exemplary governance, which continues to strengthen the APC brand across the South-South,” he added.
The APC leader expressed optimism that the next phase of the administration would usher in more unprecedented achievements and lasting legacies for the people of Cross River State.
He also prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and good health for Governor Otu as he continues to steer the affairs of the state.
Governor Bassey Otu assumed office on May 29, 2023, with the “People First” agenda aimed at driving inclusive development, restoring public confidence in governance, and repositioning Cross River State as a hub for investment and tourism.
