While crying foul, he appreciated his supporters for standing by him as he also used the medium to call on Nigerians to rise up against impunity and corrupt electoral process.

His words reads in full:

My dear supporters and well wishers I give God all the glory for the success of my life and supporters, because I have been on severe shock based on my experience in the primaries that is part of history of a failed system and leadership.

I served the Cross River State Government with all my heart despite the numerous attacks over my life, spent my little resources based on due diligence in my consultations, yet was betrayed by the same Youth friendly government with serious intimidation, security forces compromising in favour of the speaker, with gun men who are not certified Security agency parating guns in front of government securities.

Sporadic shooting from beginning to end, in fact I was disappointed at the institution and the government I worked for. I thank all the delegates and my supporters in Bahumono and Abi in general who despite the intimidation gave me their vote in an undemocratic environment, the Yakurr people also who refused to adhere to the directives of the government and its appointees and still gave their vote to defend their integrity.

The only crime I committed was that I was too young to represent Abi/Yakurr federal constituency in the green chambers, I will continue to be an advocate of good leadership, practice and youth inclusion in governance. I have decided to allow God almighty to be the true judge in this act of oppression and mismanagement of power against the will of the people. God bless my federal constituency and the youths in general as time and providence will speak in due time and the truth will never be hidden for ever.
